We ordered the Plega Hi-Lo bed (double-bed size) for our 80 year old mum. Michael Bilotto (Plega Sales Leader, Victoria) provided mum with two in-home demonstrations of the bed’s functionality. We had lots of questions and Michael answered them all!

The bed was delivered on 11/7/2023 – as planned. The men who delivered the bed also moved mum’s old bed to another room which was very helpful.

Mum tells us that the Plega latex mattress is very comfortable. (We, too, found the bed to be very comfortable during the in-home demonstrations!) Mum finds the remote control easy to use. All the functionality of the bed will be extremely useful and helpful for her – and for future carers when/if needed.

During the many times we contacted Michael Bilotto to ask questions, he was always very calm, thorough, pleasant, respectful, informative and professional in his explanations about the bed and he highlighted practical issues for our consideration. Michael made this significant purchase a positive experience for us.

Fantastic Service & incredible bed. I purchased the high/low double bed with the latex mattress through the NDIS which I’m so grateful to have. I can’t say anything but positive feedback! Michael (Melbourne) was my main contact and from first meeting (trial) to the process in between and then receiving the bed a year later (expected as through funding etc) – the service was incredible.

The bed has made such a difference to me as sadly I’ve gotten more disabled due to a number of factors but this bed helps me remain as independent as possible and helps me from laying down to standing! There is no other bed like it! The latex mattress is so comfortable too and no smell (like some reviews have been saying?). The motor is very quiet which is great as often during the night I need to adjust for my comfort!

PLEGA REVIEW

We purchased two king single beds almost 5 years ago from Plega. After having researched the brands of adjustable beds that were on the market at that time and having had an informative home demonstration of the product, we opted to choose the Plega product.

Having a lung issue, I was unable to lie recumbent in a flat bed and ended up sleeping in a recliner chair for a long while in order to sleep in a position where my chest was elevated. This was not a satisfactory long term option and so the decision was made to purchase an adjustable bed to achieve this elevation. The Plega beds proved to be an effective solution to my sleep posture issues.

Recently there was a minor issue and management in Victoria showed themselves to be considerate of my needs and very forthcoming to help in addressing them. Again, all was done in a timely manner. As in our initial dealing with the Plega, the staff were courteous and the delivery personnel were polite and efficient.

I felt it was important to give a review from the perspective of a client whose purchase was made in 2015 and who is still very satisfied with the product in 2020.

Very happy with my Plega Queen size bed. Only need a way to keep control of bed position. If dropped on floor, was extremely difficult to exit bed. I used cable ties, to secure remote. A learning experience.
Delivery guys very helpful & Plega representative very helpful, to finishing dismantling bed, not an easy job. Put grip hand rail, which is super helpful for entering & exiting bed. Able to breathe much better now. Hasn’t solved all my problems, but at least it’s a start .

Was moved to post this review after recently having a brain injured client fall from bed after getting confused in the night and raising instead of lowering his bed height to transfer to this wheelchair in the dark. Required an urgent call-out to deactivate the bed height control and, despite being aware of how busy the company was, Audrey the Client Services Coordinator, worked with me conscientiously and with compassion, to try to get the modification carried out immediately.

Thank you, Steve and Plega team. From start to finish, it has been a smooth transaction – right from the demonstration at their showroom in Rowville Victoria, sales thru delivery and to top it all after-sales services. Have been using the Hi-Lo King Single bed over the last 3 months and it has been a great relief to my son who has been able to get better sleep now. Steve not only shared the details of the product but also assisted in choosing the right bed while offering a convenient commercial construct combined with expedited delivery of within two weeks which was very important for us. Post-delivery we had issues with getting our mobile hoist under the bed (which was missed to highlight while placing the order) that was attended quickly and fixed within a few days on reporting at no cost. Very satisfied with the outcome and PLEGA team till date.

Congratulations Plega on a wonderful product. The two adjustable beds are beautiful, comfortable and good to look at.

The eldely and infirm have enjoyed the pleasure of this up-to-the minute technology far too long! Everyone should discard their flat beds, little changed since the war years, and try them. Healthy, no pressure comfort, certainly improved the snoring by raising the bedhead a little and most of all the support available for a great breakfast in bed. I might also add that after a hard day both mentally and physically the hum of the massager and the gentle massage soon brings on a perfect sleep – how good is that!

I must also congratulate and say thank you to all Plega staff. Always pleasant and friendly, they listened to what was needed, offered constructive advice with a little humour included and delivery and assembly was excellent.

I will honestly recommend Plega and I now feel part of the lovely Plega family!

Hello Our introduction to Plega Healthcare was in January 2008 when we’re living in country Victoria. We had a demonstration of the Electric steel frame head and leg lift adjustable bed. As soon as we moved back to Melbourne in July that year we purchased the dual queen companion beds including drawers on 1 side and relevant mattresses.
My wife is a retired Nurse and has Nurses back and Osteoporosis. The electric adjustable bed and mattress arrangement has been very helpful to help her get comfortable.
Throughout subsequent years we have made further purchases from Plega and always found their people very courteous, helpful and knowledgeable in Sales Servicing Administration or just discussing some aspects regarding beds and bedding.
I am a retired Accountant and can’t help myself but have to carry out a cost value benefit comparison on our major purchases. Suffice to say our Plega purchases came out on top with my analysis.
We therefore would highly recommend the people and bedding products at Plega.
