Our Journey
1980s
Where it all began. In the Melbourne suburb of Clayton we were first established as Advanced Adjustable Beds. The team was small, but extremely motivated. In fact, we still carry this experience with us working with some of the original team today.

1990s
The emergence of PLEGA. As we are and always have been a family business, PLEGA is an acronym using the first letter of each family member’s name. We established our Headquarters in Rowville and continued to grow.
2000s
Venturing around Australia. During this period, we expanded our presence and product range nationally. We also strengthened our relationships with Healthcare Institutions and Governmental Organisations.

The PLEGA Healthcare Centre. Our new national HQ in Melbourne provides us with the infrastructure to make huge strides in the healthcare industry. Here we undertake demonstrations with clients, prescribing therapists, and various other organisations. This also houses our main production facility to provide you high quality products with effective distribution

We have now teamed up with one of the leading Assistive Technology manufacturers in Portugal and Europe in order to collaborate, design, and produce quality mobility equipment that allows Australians to be independent in their home as long as possible. This gives PLEGA access to an exciting team of expert engineers that can make anything possible.

Another strong partnership we have developed is in the North of Italy with another family-owned company that has been producing some of Italy’s most premium mattresses for over 65 years. They share our values of quality, fine craftsmanship, and ultimately comfort to provide us with a range of mattresses that combine pressure relieving technologies with the look and feel of a luxury sleeping surface.
